WHAT IS researchED?

researchED is a global grassroots movement that connects educational research with classroom practice. It brings together teachers, academics, and policymakers to share evidence-informed ideas in a collaborative, accessible setting. Long Bay College is proud to host researchED New Zealand 2026, a day of rigorous and relevant professional learning for educators across all sectors, including primary, intermediate, secondary and tertiary.

What's on

The day will feature keynotes, breakout sessions, and a panel discussion. Our presenters are being confirmed — stay tuned! We’ll be announcing speakers over the coming weeks.

If you’re interested in presenting, please see our “Interested in Presenting” section below.

Tickets

Tickets to attend the conference will go live in the summer. We’re committed to keeping prices as low as possible. The researchED mission is to make professional learning affordable (it’s one of the reasons the event is held on a Saturday).

Click the link to register your interest, and we’ll contact you directly when tickets become available.

  • A commitment to intellectual honesty and professional generosity.

Who can present?

Anyone passionate about bridging research and practice, classroom teachers, academics, school leaders, or those in teacher education. We welcome sessions that are evidence-based, practical, and accessible.
